This is our first time eating here. The whiting filets were wonderful and the wings. The potato salad was amazing and fries. The Mac and cheese was a bit salty. But, all and all the food was great. I will definitely be ordering from here again!
You see all types of people there. I didn't like catfish until I tasted the one's my mom ordered. Their CAKES ARE AWESOME AND I DON'T SHARE. CHOCOLATE CAKE AND COCONUT CAKE. Their sizes are well worth the money spent.
Stopped by the Fayetteville store location to receive an excellent customer service experience. Totally surprised to find new ownership and had my expectations exceeded. The food was outstanding with ample portions, and if you like iced tea, be sure to try it here, reminds me of old fashion family reunion style. Highly recommend this restaurant committed to your satisfaction.
The group that I was with had a great time, the food and customer service, was great and Black owned. Everything was cooked to order and it came out quick. We will be going back!!

I was in the Hope Valley area and I was looking for something to eat, saw that this restaurant just opened so I went inside to have a look because I love fish. The staff was nice enough, nothing exceptional. If you pay with a credit card there the machine will ask if you want to tip, so try to pay with cash or it will be awkward when you select no tip. I tipped a dollar just to be nice even though I'm not sure why I was tipping, we get our own refills and throw away our own trash. The food was absolutely fantastic and cooked to order. I got the catfish and it tasted great, fresh and hot. The fries, hushpuppies, and coleslaw was also delicious. Definitely will come back again. I also love that there is tartar sauce and all kinds of seasoning on each table, they were delicious and a nice compliment to the meal. Overall if you are a fan of fish I strongly recommend you give this place a visit.
Food was amazing. Catfish literally melts in your mouth. Crispy, not dry. Lemonade was great. Corn was nice and spicy (I told them to put Obay seasoning on it). Great food.
We just moved to Durham and were a little sad when some of our favorite delivery places were no longer an option for us...but GG Fish & Chicken came to the rescue! This place is great value, great food, and lots of options! They are consistently tasty and they have some of the best chicken wings I've ever had! My husband loves their chicken tenders.
